Publishing - North Zimbabwe Conference

Publishing

PUBLISHING

Since its beginnings in the 19th century, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been in the publishing business. The Publishing Department supports a large network of church publishing entities that encompass the North Zimbabwe Conference. It also backs Adventist book stores as well as outreach teams that share printed materials with the public.

PHILOSOPHY

The publishing work, developed by James and Ellen White, even before the Seventh-day Adventist Church had a name or organization, was ordained to play a prominent role in proclaiming the everlasting gospel to the world in preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus.

Vision

We strive to help people live better physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually while they prepare for the soon return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Publishing Ministry of the North Zimbabwe Conference Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to make followers and disciples of Jesus Christ ready for His soon coming by proclaiming the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12 to all peoples through the printed media.

Objective

The objective of the Publishing Ministry is to proclaim the gospel of hope, to improve the quality and dignity of human life, and to mobilize for total member involvement in the distribution of hope-filled content through subscription, trade, and general and free literature.
